The community bus of the municipality of Wachenheim offers a free and convenient way to meet mobility needs such as doctor's appointments, shopping or visits. The service is aimed at all citizens of the municipality and also includes trips to Bad Dürkheim, Maxdorf and Fußgönheim. The citizens' bus runs every Thursday and is designed to be barrier-free, with space for walking aids and easy boarding and alighting. The non-profit project is based on the commitment of volunteer drivers. Rides can be booked on Tuesdays: 14:00-14:30 for fixed appointments (e.g. doctor's appointments) 14:30-16:00 for flexible appointments (e.g. shopping)
