The CO2 footprint should be recorded for services and goods in the region. When shopping and using services, this information should be made available to the citizen or guest in a personal account. Each citizen/guest thus has an overview of his or her CO2 footprint. At the same time, the citizen/guest will be offered regional compensation projects to offset the CO2 footprint. The data will also be anonymized and the regional average of the CO2 footprint will be calculated.
