Just in time for the start of the fall break, the Speyer Technology Museum once again invites visitors to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of submarines. On October 11 and 12, visitors can participate in special hands-on tours of the U9 submarine – expertly and authentically guided by former submariners from the Association of German Submariners (VDU) . Participation is included in regular museum admission.

The Speyer Technical Museum is one of the southernmost submarine bases in Germany. The 46-meter-long, 466-ton U9 has been moored in the cathedral city since 1993 and remains one of the museum's most popular exhibits.

The tours offer exclusive insights into everyday life on board a submarine. Jürgen Weber , former commander and active crew member of the U9, will also be present, sharing fascinating stories and personal experiences with guests.
