Already since the end of 2019, the Rhine-Neckar Regional Association has been dealing with the topic of sustainability and has implemented numerous projects and events on this topic.In 2021, the Committee for Regional Development and Regional Management decided unanimously in its meeting that the region should set out on the path to becoming a Fair Metropolitan Region - since 15. March 2023 we are a certified FAIR REGION RHEIN-NECKAR.

We want to remain so and are working on the continuation of this important topic.In this group, we offer all Fairtrade towns or -Landkreise as well as all municipalities which have interest in Fairtrade a possibility to the Fairen Halnde, lastingness and to further topics of the local development politics to exchange.
